Hi Daren,

You are correct in your spelling of Ang Pow. It is the traditional dialect spelling. There is no hard and fast rule that is spelt as Bao, which is hanyu pinyin spelling for mandarin words.
“Bao” is used in “Hong Bao” (Mandarin).
So kelvin, Daren is NOT wrong in his spelling. He is always right!!!!
Anyway, Daren, I love your album.

Daren is correct: it is ang pow.(dialect) that is how is spelt traditionally. If you want to use “bao”, it is to be used in “Hong Bao” (mandarin)
